Inspiring New Energy Consciousness…

Intuitive Painting… Celebrating YOU

Further to my post yesterday introducing you to Intuitive Painting as a way to spend some quiet Me-Time, I wanted to show you two very different pieces of SoulArt that I intuitively painted this year. I have explored SoulArt for many years now and still find it amazing how each painting uniquely expresses itself, depending on the question asked or the person focused on. Each painting has always expressed to me a celebration of a persons colour, quality and passion that lies within.

The question is does the person concerned show this celebration of colour, quality and passion in their physical reality… if not… can we allow it to be expressed now?

Not only does an intuitive painting speak volumes about the person concerned and  is unique… but it shows me just how different I paint each time. It’s as if the energy of the person concerned, comes through and paints the expression… through me.

I know that this is indeed what happens.  Beyond our dual and physical reality there is a reality where we are all interconnected and when we tap into this consciousness with a specific question or focus on a person… energy comes in and serves us.

I’ve always said it is very hard to explain what I do and how I teach without labelling and naming something and putting it into a box or pattern that only adds to the patterns and conditioning of our physical dual reality… rather than allowing us to be free to expand beyond our linear time and space. So I teach purely through example and through creative endeavours to the ones who know there is more and it is time for them to experience it for them self.

Intuitive Painting is a great way for us to tap into BEYOND… into CONSCIOUSNESS… to see and feel that we are part of something so much bigger than our Human self. We remember and awaken to who we truly are and ultimately celebrate our life. YES…

The Wellness Benefit of taking quiet Me-Time… Intuitive Painting

We all understand the need to chill out and recharge our batteries once in a while as we do feel the benefits of our wellbeing… So why don’t we do it much? Over the years I have learned and taught many ways of spending quiet Me-Time with ourself. It is a quiet sacred time to connect and converse with the Divine and loving part of ourself that wants nothing more than to nurture and balance us. One of my favourite Me-Time’s is playing with colour and shapes in the form of Intuitive Painting.

What is Intuitive Painting?
The original reason for art is its access point for the SACRED. When we experience it, we experience ourself. It is important that we become the artwork. It is important that our Human self becomes transparent so that our Divine self can shine through our physical body and express itself.

We are all born knowing the truth of our Divine light self that lies deep within us and loves us unconditionally… but along our Human journey we learn patterns and conditionings from our forefathers, from society and focus on our daily experiences, getting caught up in the mundane struggle of survival of the best or fittest. This has created a limited and fearful society we live in today. We have severed our connection of our origin and cannot remember that we come from a source of pure love and indeed are, at our core, source itself. We don’t remember how to love and nurture ourself… instead we serve others and live in a state of fear. We have closed down our emotions and feelings because of what others might think. We are only conscious of the patterns we have learned. It is time to change… and what better way than with having fun and playing with colour.

Intuitive Painting is a quiet, creative and mindful way we can allow our Divine self to express her/himself to our Human self… through colours and shapes we can open up to a safe and new dialog with ourself and encourage our Divine Expression.

What you need…
Canvas or sheets of painting paper
A colourful assortment of paints… you can use watercolour, acryll or oil
Pencil
Water
An assortment of paint brushes
Mixing board

Getting out of the mind
It is necessary that we allow ourself… to get out of our mind and allow ourself to be spontaneous and paint or draw whatever inspires us. We ask no questions… We don’t think about what is happening… We don’t judge ourself and there are definitely no mistakes made. There is no good and bad, right and wrong because everything is an expression of who we are… If we consider something to be a mistake we can integrate it into our artwork. It is about allowing our Divine self to express our truth.

The Conscious Breath
Relax for a little while, close your eyes and breathe… Breathing in and out… Feel yourself relaxing on your stool, imagine your thoughts clearing a space within your mind. Feel the eagerness of your mind to meet your Divine creative intelligence, to have time to play together and create something fun. Breathing in and out…

Painting your Artwork
If you have a specific question for your Divine self that you would like answered, say it or write it down. Otherwise allow your Divine self to generally express itself to you.

Pick up a paintbrush, choose a colour and begin painting… breathe and allow…

When your painting is complete
Do you feel satisfied that it is finished?

Answer the following questions, write the answer down on some paper
(the first answer that comes into your mind).
How does your painting make you feel?
What is the theme of your painting?
What colour is dominant?
How does this colour make you feel?
Do you use light or dark colours?
What is this saying to you?
What other colours have you used?
How do they make you feel?
What shapes have you used?
What do they mean to you… curves… straight lines
Do you use thick or thin brush strokes?
Do you use heavy or light brush strokes?
Do you use erratic or neat brush strokes?
Does your painting look harmonious?
What part of the painting stands out to you?
Where is this part… top… bottom… right… left

Now that you have taken a good look at your painting…
What feelings do you hold now?
What do you know your painting is expressing to you?

Now its time for a nice cool glass of water or wine… and celebrate the wonderful communication you’ve just encountered with your Divine self. You can know for sure that you are feeling totally relaxed and balanced.

Celebrating BIG time… 80 and 50 years young…

The beginning of a week of celebrations for our family…

For a long time Tom and I have had our eye on a spectacular journey through the English countryside, back in time… and what a perfect time to organise it… for Barrie/my dad on his 80th birthday.  Barrie has always been crazy about steam trains, so when we found the Belmond British Pullman (Belmond, an American Company recently bought the Venice-Simplon-Orient-Express Business) was available for a journey back in ‘The Golden Age of Steam Travel’, we began to ‘secretly’ arrange it all.  Barrie and my sister Angie came down to London on thursday night and here we are above on the eve of our mystery celebration journey.

Novemember 7th The taxi took us through the London streets to Victoria Station where we walked through to the departure boards… ‘Are we going on a rail journey?’ Barrie asked.  It was all quite exiting.  To the left I saw platform 2 where we had to be, we walked along the platform and came across a red carpet, a 1920’s brass band playing and a grand entrance… to the Venice-Simplon-Orient-Express.

We checked in and received our boarding tickets for our seating in the grand old carriage Gwen…. she had been in service in Britain on the Brighton Belle 1934 – 1972, the first all-electric Pullman car train in the world.  It operated between London and Brighton.  It’s lavish interior of plush carpets, velvet upholstery, marquetry panels, fronted glass lampshades and brass fittings was nothing but luxury at its very best and available to shuttle the wealthy and distinguished travellers around Britain and the new continent.

Life took on major change in the 1960’s and 1970 and the British Pullman trains/carriages were pulled out of service and either sold off or left for the scrapheap. But a man, James Sherwood had a dream… to revive the legendary Orient-Express.  He located all the lost carriages and acquired 35 historic sleepers, pullmans and restaurant cars and using both new technology and the original marquetry business, together they restored the carriages and engines to their former fame and glory. 1981 saw the re-launch of the Venice-Simplon-Orient-Express from London Victoria Station.  The cars were all stars once again, palaces on wheels, for all to enjoy.

So here we were, walking up to the front of the British Pullman 35028 (in service from 1948 until 1967) and now once again in service to us for a wonderful journey back in time.  We were greeted like royalty and seated in one of the closed compartments in Gwen’s luxurious carriage. A thick linen cloth decked the table and china, silverware and crystal glistened as the sun shone in through the window. Before we could take in and register this grand abundance of richness, the champagne was served and we tasted the delicious hors d oeuvres.

 

We left the station, smoke bellowing along side the carriage, we heard the nostalgic sound of ‘chuff chuff’ as we gained speed, the smell of the coal being fired up and the ‘woo woo’ signal as it approached each station… Our throats were filled with joy and tears came to all our eyes as we were taken back in a time of ‘no time’ with richness all around our magnificent and distinguished self’s.  This was our celebration, we found ourselves in a time capsule, peaceful and truly out of this world…a once in a lifetime experience… quite beyond words to write down.  Instead our hearts and souls expanded and took it all in as we enjoyed the wonderful five course lunch, plenty of champagne, wine, port and liquors, blue skies and sunshine (in England…), lighting up the beautiful lush countryside of SouthEast England.

Four hours later our journey had come to its end in London Victoria where we disembarked the British Pullman with big smiles and feelings of deep joy and gratitude.  We said our thankyou’s and goodbye’s and made our way back home.  

So Barrie was exceptionally happy today… 80 years old, still wonderfully healthy and active with optimism and a positive attitude which I knew takes everyone into a grand old age of thriving and continuous celebration with family and friends.

We travelled back by modern electric train to Derby and prepared for our next celebration. Angie was becoming 50 years young… which we again celebrated in style together with family and friends in Shardlow… thanks to Jon her boyfriend and friend Tracy for organising it all.  Here’s a few pictures to enjoy… (please note the face masks of Angie that we all wore… just to confuse her) and what do you know… after the wonderful meal Jon got down on his knees in front of us all and asked Angie to marry him.

IAM so so happy… My little sister has found a magnificent person in Jon, a kind active and happy gentleman… Jon, welcome to the family, Tom and I love having you as our younger brother… and looking forward to many more family ‘once in a lifetime’ journeys in the world.  

Thanks to all our family and friends who want to share an extraordinary life with us. Until the next time I put pen to paper… IAM so involved in day to day experiences and focusing on my first book and painting (intuitively from peoples names/passion/colour/birthplace)…  my book will be ready soon and my first painting by name is here… Please have patience, I’ll be back more regularly soon…

Loving myself and what stops me…

 My grand daughter and I painted this ‘intuitive painting’ last week… We were both not sure what it was about, we only knew that we were to let others know about ‘loving self’… of how important it is…to be happy for yourself, have joy in your life, know that nothing has to be perfect, trust the voice of your soul, be calm and at peace and care for others who come along on your life’s journey…

For the past 20 years I have guided myself and others in ‘intuitive painting’.  Being a visual person, it is something physical that represents ‘self empowerment’… ‘loving self’… ‘tools of awakening’… as it is a way, completely free of any method or programme made by ‘somebody else’  that allows you to grow, awaken and love yourself… in your way with your own terms and conditions…  ‘Intuitive Painting’ is an expression of your soul and spirit essence, the part of you that is eternal, ever-loving and divine intelligence itself… that occupies your body for a human experience here on Earth…  When you don’t hear the message of your painting, it is wise to pay close attention to what is happening in your life and what you are experiencing…
